Cozy Fall Front Porch and Entry Reveal!

What’s not to love about a fall front porch? The weather is cooler and it’s the perfect place to get cozy this fall and watch the leaves turn beautiful colors!

There is nothing I love more than sitting on my front porch.

It is the best place to relax and entertain friends, while enjoying the outdoors.

This year it was all about creating a cozy outdoor living space on the front porch and a welcoming entryway!

Come sit and daydream with me as we walk through the reveal!

My Summer Front Porch

Every year I have the best time decorating my front porch for fall.

It’s time to make over the color palette and make it feel more inviting and cozy.

This spring my front porch got a MAJOR makeover, which you can read about here:

Here is a quick picture of what it looked like before I made it over for fall.

It’s so crazy how much the light changes as the seasons change.

In the fall I don’t get any direct sunlight like I do in the summer.

NOTE: Some items are sold out due to the season.

So you can see the front porch is a very small space, but I’ve maximized the seating space over the years.

Are you ready to see what it looks like this fall?

Well I am ready to share 🙂

Cozy Fall Front Porch Reveal

Each year I use Mother Nature as my guide to what colors I am going to use.

With shades of blue as a primary base in the small patterned rug, my exterior paint color, and the slate colored floor tiles it opens up a wide variety of colors I can use.

This year I decided the color transition for the pillows, after finding these cute pumpkin patch pillows on Etsy.

Then I LOVE to use blanket scarves on my porch and used it on the front porch last fall.

They are very inexpensive, add lots of color, and are soft to wrap up in on a chilly day.

I found a beautiful plaid scarf that mixed blues, burnt orange, with a hint of magenta…perfect!

Sorry, but the scarf is no longer available. Check out some other orange blanket scarf options here.

Then to bring out the colors in the scarf and pull the color around the porch, I added burnt orange, navy, and charcoal gray striped pillows.

My favorite find was the navy cable knit pillow.

All pillows were purchased at Home Goods, so I linked similar matches.

Then what about this CUTE ceramic pumpkin planter!

By the way it weighs a TON and takes a bit to ship but worth it 🙂

It came with two other pumpkins that were fun to use as accent pieces around the porch,

Last but not least is this fun Happy Fall Burlap sign.

It’s really affordable and a fall accent you can use year after year.

I like it so much that I used it at the front door too, so let’s take a look at the colorful fall front entry next.

Mother Nature and her lovely colors of flowers in fall always inspires my front entry design too.

Pansies are one of my FAVORITE flowers and they come in some many beautiful mixed colors.

This year I found a new mix of colors with burgundy, magenta, with a yellow accent.

These colors guided my choice of mums using deep red, gold, magenta with a pop of white too.

I’m loving the mix of colors as you walk up my front stairs.

How do you like this “Yay, It’s You!” door mat?

That was a purchase to welcome and thank all of the delivery people in my life who make me happy 🙂

Yes! There is that “Happy Fall” sign again.

I purchased two they are so cute and affordable.

Plus the “Welcome Door Decal” is going strong after a couple of seasons!

It’s nice to see how the mums, pansies and pretty pumpkins look so nice at the front entry.

They create a welcoming feel leading you up onto the newly decorated fall front porch (so welcoming a cat sleeps here sometimes at night!).

To dress up the mum containers from the store, I put them in silver plastic paint buckets.

Tracey, your front entryway and porch are just beautiful! The mums are so pretty in the different colors. Your doormat is so darn cute! I have not seen one like it before! Your pumpkin planters are really nice. I went to order one but they will not ship this item to Canada. If our borders ever open, I will definitely have the pumpkin planter shipped to our hotel. Meanwhile, we have quite a few parcels waiting for us to pick them up at our parcel holding place in the USA. I’m so glad we have this place as most places in the USA do not ship to Canada — and I love all the stuff I order. I can hardly wait until we can go across and pick everything up! It will be like early Christmas presents! Ha! Ha!

This covid has certainly cramped my lifestyle and I don’t like it one bit! It has just hit our province and our numbers are up each day — not good. I’m so glad that we built our home by the lake and we are 1 1/2 hours from the city. Sure hope there will be a vaccine soon. Here in Canada, our dufus has already said that “everyone” has to take the vaccine. I tell you, our next election can’t come soon enough. Even President Trump doesn’t like our Prime Minister!

Hope everything is going well for you. Hope your Mom and Dad are OK. I imagine that with the covid ban on all the hospitals and care homes that it makes it pretty difficult for you to visit with your Dad. This is so hard for you and your Mom.

Hope you have a great week! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

    1. Hi my Canadian friend! My mom has been able to see my dad (with lots of personal protection) and I’ll get to see him in November! I can’t wait to hold his hand. Hang in there…I am so ready for 2020 to be DONE. I think cases are going to spike again and we will have to adjust. I’m mentally preparing now to be at home again 🙂

  2. Porch is beautiful. Alive with color.
But no mention about palms. Are they real. Love them

    1. They are real and I go into a little detail about them in my summer reveal post. I replant them every year for privacy…I have a drip irrigation system that keeps them healthy all summer and they grow like crazy!
