My Paint Color Expertise
When it comes to choosing paint colors and predicting color trends, my experience runs deep! It came with MANY years of practice over much of my adult life.
Earning a B.S., Textile Chemistry and Engineering led to a long career in apparel and home furnishings. This included matching color standards for brands like Wal*Mart, GAP, Target and JCrew. Plus doing trend and design analysis for major consumer home brands. While working for a global paint manufacturer, I researched popular paint colors and helped launch in-store color tools.
I also have the rare gift of color memory. That means I see color to a greater degree and remember what I see later. Knowing and seeing color has been the way I’ve made a living during my 25+ year corporate career.

Tracey’s 25+ year career in home improvement included working for one of the LARGEST global paint manufacturers.
She helped teach paint department staff on proper paint application and launch new paint technologies. Her experience forecasting home design and color trends, makes her a paint color expert too!
Tracey has an ACT (Architectural Coating Technologist) certification. Not only does she know how-to paint, but the science behind it!
